Practice education monitors - hospital support specialist program

We are looking for a Practice Education Monitor with our Hospital Support Specialist Program. This person would be responsible for overseeing students while on their practice education experience within various hospital departments throughout the Lower Mainland and non-hospital settings such as clinics, private surgical and diagnostic facilities.
Monitors perform weekly visits to the practical sites to support and guide students while completing their practicums. Additional responsibilities include providing ongoing student feedback and acting as a liaison for the college and the industry partner. There is a complete practicum handbook and a thorough orientation would take place prior to stepping into the practicum setting. The monitor to student ratio would be a maximum 1:12.
We require someone with a minimum of three years work experience in one or more of the following areas:
Previous monitoring, supervisory and/or preceptor experience is an asset.
To be successful in this role, you must have superior communication and decision making skills. You are comfortable using a computer and are highly organized.
