To help you fully realize your goals, Stenberg College graduates will receive free lifetime career assistance from our employment specialists. A wide range of services is available:

• In a single week, large employers can receive hundreds of job applications. To help you stand out, Career Services will assist you to develop professional, targeted, well-designed cover letters and resumes. You will learn how to organize your portfolio to highlight your qualifications. You will also learn how to increase your opportunities for being hired through follow up and thank you letters.

• Did you know that over 80 per cent of all positions are not advertised? Networking is your best way to tap into the hidden job market. You will learn effective networking techniques and how to leverage your contacts to acquire the career you want.

• Like anyone who has been coached in soccer, hockey or curling will tell you, seeing yourself on tape is a great way to improve your performance. Career Services offers one-on-one career coaching in a safe, supportive environment. By video taping your performance during mock interviews, you will improve your body language and refine your answers to typical interviewer questions.

• Careers Services understands the industry you will be graduating into and is an integral part of every program at Stenberg College. You will be given the tools to conduct a targeted career search.

• In-depth information about job placement rates, benefits, salary and industry trends are available so you can plan your career.
