IV Therapy - Theory 

This online course covers IV fluid administration and IV fluid therapy management. Through the completion of realistic, case-based lessons and interactive self-assessment exercises, participants will learn course material at their own pace, reviewing as often as they like. Videos and animations demonstrate best practices for techniques and procedures.

Lesson 2: Insertion of a Peripheral Intravenous Device
Lesson 3: Troubleshooting Intravenous Infusions
Lesson 4: Discontinuing Peripheral IV Access

Module 2: Intravenous Fluid Therapy Management

Lesson 1: Overview of Maintenance of Intravenous Site
Lesson 2: Regulating Intravenous Infusion Flow Rates
Lesson 3: Changing Infusion Fluid/Tubing
Lesson 4: Changing a Peripheral IV Dressing

Total Course Length: 8 hours

Course Cost: $180

Additional Details: After successful completion of this course, students will receive a Stenberg College Certificate of course completion.
