New job openings for Early Childhood Educators are estimated to increase by 3800 in the next 5 years due to both new job creation and replacing current employees who will retire. We congratulate our Practical Nursing graduates for obtaining an outstanding 100% pass rate four consecutive times on the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (May 2009, September 2009, January 2010, May 2010). The countdown to opening for the new Surrey Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre is less than one year away. june 21, 2010 - fraser health seniors to benefit from additional residential care funding
Seniors in British Columbia’s largest health authority will benefit from increases in direct care due to additional funding for most publicly-funded residential care providers. Fraser Health will invest approximately $12 million in additional funding this year for 43 facilities in communities across Fraser Health. This investment will increase to $20 million next year. May 12, 2010 - Province breaks ground on new Surrey Senior's care lodge

Apr. 23, 2010 - Chilliwack general hospital marks redevelopment milestone
The $35 million redevelopment of Fraser Health’s Chilliwack General Hospital reached a major milestone today with the opening of the new Emergency Room and Laboratory. With the decentralization of services from Riverview Hospital, 441 beds have opened around the province already and with these 9 new projects, Fraser Health and Vancouver Coastal Health plan to add 318 more beds. On February 15th, Fraser Health announced that the expansion plans for Surrey Memorial have taken another step forward. The new expansion will add 151 new patient beds and will include a critical care facility, a centre for high-risk newborns, and a clinical academic campus.
