SummerFest This amazing event held in June 2006 was part carnival and part Open House. It was an opportunity for students to showcase their learning with interactive classroom demonstrations for their families and friends. With clowns, mascots, magicians, live entertainment and lots of free food, it was fun for the entire family and brought out the child in all of us … Nira Arora and the Beat Street Squad provided live on-air reports and gave away tons of free swag! The Early Childhood Education class won $500 for the best interactive presentation and Bryn Parker and Avalon Fetterly were chosen as the Students of the Year and had their entire tuitions reimbursed! Sarah MacLaren and Susan Cosh were runners-up and received $1000 each towards their tuition.
