Amber Belzer, Program Advisor
A graduate from the BCIT Diploma of Technology Program, Amber considers herself a lifelong student of media. She joined Stenberg as a program advisor because she felt her love of learning would be shared by her colleagues and potential students. Amber feels great satisfaction helping others to enrich their lives by assisting them to find a program that fits their life.
 
 

Tracey Purvis, RPN BHScN MN
Program Manager, Psychiatric Nursing
Tracey graduated from Douglas College with a diploma in Psychiatric Nursing and has been registered with the CRPNBC since 1997. She began her nursing practice in the area of forensic psychiatry and correctional nursing, both in BC and in Alberta, while at the same time continuing her nursing education with courses for the Advanced Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing. In 2003 Tracey graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) from Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Australia. Tracey began teaching practical nursing in 2005, and has taught in both the BPN and BSN programs, where she developed and wrote course material. Over the past decade, Tracey has enjoyed various leadership positions, including consultation for youth in foster care, and has continued her journey of educational growth by achieving her Masters of Nursing at CSU, specializing in mental health.

Samantha Gray, Practice Education Placement Administrator
Sammy's bright personality and daily interaction with students makes her one of the most recognizable faces on campus. She enjoys the balanced work environment Stenberg provides, and appreciates the professional growth her role has provided. Her fondest memories at Stenberg are during Campus Life Events, where students are given the opportunity to interact and participate in various activities.

Dan Kibke, IT Coordinator
Dan brings over 13 years of experience providing network and desktop support in the education sector. He is trained in audio engineering, video production and multi-media. Beyond providing daily support to instructors and administrators, he also provides technical support for Stenberg¡¯s Online program. In his spare time he is a sound manipulator interested in improvisation, electronics, audio, video, bio-feedback systems, synthesis, field recording photocells and contact microphones. In addition to sound art he is an ardent photographer and urban explorer with an inclination towards industrial ruins.

Cheryl Knorr, E-Advisor
As our E-Advisor, Cheryl is the first point of contact for many prospective students. She greatly enjoys discussing career options with future students and helping them discover the program that matches their career objectives. With a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Simon Fraser University, Cheryl one day hopes to pursue her Masters Degree in Urban Planning. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family and snowboarding.

Darlene Marion, Career Services Manager
Darlene has been working in education for over 11 years and has been with Stenberg College for over 6 years. She became interested in the field because she wanted to assist others to enhance their lives and guide them in a rewarding new career. She can still remember the first graduation she attended where she realized the impact education had on their lives. A talented dancer, Darlene is the Manager, Chorographer and Teacher for the Silver Diamond Country Dance Team.

Coreen M., Academic Manager
Coreen has been a member of the administration team at Stenberg College since June 2007. She is a graduate from the International Institute of Travel and Business with a diploma in Travel and Tourism and Business Administration. Since Coreen has graduated from a private college she knows first hand the feeling of accomplishment and strives to help others reach their goals.

Mahsa Saeedi, Marketing & Public Relations Manager
Mahsa has been working in sales and marketing for the past five years, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Simon Fraser University. She enjoys working in the education industry because she feels education is a powerful tool that adds great value to an individual's quality of life. She believes in continuous learning and greatly enjoys taking courses that add to her professional and personal growth. An avid traveler, she has been to over twenty countries and enjoys exploring different cultures.

Jandy Sertic, Program Advisor
 Jandy finds working in the education sector highly rewarding. In particular, she enjoys guiding mature students through the process of going back to school and seeing their career potential realized. Her fondest moments working at Stenberg College are during the graduation ceremonies, where student's hard work is recognized. She is proud to work for a school that is committed to providing quality education and support services to their students.

Allison Staple, Financial Aid Officer
Allison joined Stenberg College in 2005 as an instructor. A graduate from the Veterinary Technologist Program, Allison has always had an interest in helping others better themselves, and feels education is the best way to achieve this. An avid reader and animal lover, Allison is a great addition to the Stenberg team.

Ashley Taylor, Student Services Administrator
Ashley helps to ensure all administrative aspects of the campus run smoothly.She enjoys the daily interaction she has with students and the dynamic aspects of her role, as well as the team-oriented working environment Stenberg promotes. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, she believes learning is a life-long journey.
