Sarina Corsi, Director of Education
Sarina Corsi has been working in the private and public education sectors since 1994. Her undergraduate education was gained at the University of Victoria in French Language and Literature and History in Art. After several years of study and teaching in France, and gaining her CTEFLA certification, Sarina undertook her Master's Degree in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (EdM ‘99). She has since worked as a teacher trainer, course and program developer, written education policy and been actively involved in regulatory body reporting. Since May 2007, Sarina has worked as Director of Education at Stenberg College. In her role, she confirms that all regulatory and TEC standards of education are being met within the institution, both in classroom and on-line program delivery. She greatly values the Stenberg / TEC commitment to providing quality education and is passionate in the TEC vision of empowerment through education.

Gary Karbar, Director of Campus Operations
Gary has been working in the education sector for over five years in various management roles and has an extensive background in Human Resources. A graduate from Simon Fraser University’s Business Administration program, Gary believes education is a life-long learning process that adds immense value both to the individual and society. His most memorable moment working for Stenberg College is partaking in the graduation ceremonies, where student’s hard work is realized.

Dr. Jacqollyne Keath, Dean of Psychiatric Nursing
Previously serving as Executive Director/Registrar for the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of British Columbia, Dr. Keath has also served on the CRPNBC Board of Directors and on several College committees. She has played a significant role in developing the first baccalaureate degree programs in psychiatric nursing in British Columbia – two of only three such programs in Canada. Dr. Keath’s academic credentials include diplomas in both psychiatric nursing and registered nursing, a bachelor’s in music, a master of hypnotherapy degree and a doctoral degree in counseling psychology from Southwest University. She is currently working on advanced studies in Natural Medicine with the Global College of Natural Medicine (GCNM). Dr. Keath brings to the role of Dean a wealth of work experience in psychiatric nursing, including a background in independent practice and previous employment in positions encompassing all the domains of the profession: clinical practice, administration, education and research.

Jeremy Sabell, Executive Director
With over ten years of experience in the education field and over five years working for Stenberg College, Jeremy is well versed in all aspects of private education. It is his sincere belief that the team at Stenberg are here because they enjoy working together toward the common goal of helping people enrich their lives through higher education. He finds his own role both fulfilling and challenging as Stenberg continuously strives to improve their operation in order to keep current with the ever-changing education environment. His most memorable moment at Stenberg College was witnessing the first Student of the Year receive her tuition reimbursement, an annual event that makes him proud to work for an institution that places students first.

Jacquie Stene Murphy, Director of Faculty and Student Affairs
An experienced educator and HR professional, Jacquie joined the Stenberg team in 2003. Jacquie’s knowledge and passion for education provide immense value to her role as Director of Faculty & Student Services. She feels people are empowered through education, and is proud to be part of an organization that strives to provide students with the tools they need to be successful after graduation. An active member of the community, Jacquie is a Board Member for the South Fraser Home Support Society and Cornerstone Care, as well as a member of the BC HRMA.

Wendy Turnbull, Director of Industry Relations
Wendy has been with Stenberg for over 8 years. With education and front-line experience in health care as a Health Unit Coordinator, she is particularly effective in relating to multiple stakeholders. She places a large value on quality education and takes great satisfaction in working with Stenberg’s industry partners to develop programs that directly meet and exceed their needs. She finds it especially rewarding to know that Stenberg is making a difference. Her most memorable moment was watching the first group of Hospital Support Specialists graduate and be successfully employed.
