Meet Brittany – Cardiology Technologist Student Blogger

My name is Brittany and I am currently enrolled in Stenberg’s Cardiology Technology program here in Halifax, NS. Born in Cape Breton, I spend a lot of my time volunteering with my dad at our local hospital. From that experience I discovered I wanted a career where I could help people. After graduating high school I took off to the “big city” to study Sciences in hope that I would find more focus in what I wanted to study/ have as a career. I decided I wanted a career in a medical field that was focused in on a discipline. I did some research and I found out what a Registered Cardiology Technologist was and then I found Stenberg. As of this April I graduated with a Bachelor of Science with a double major in biology and chemistry, had 4 days off, and then jumped right into this program and I love it so far.
In my free time I enjoy exploring new places, reading, photography, D.I.Y. projects, and movies/television. I have actually been thinking about starting a blog as a hobby or potentially a vlog (video blog). University taught me a lot of life and study lessons that I have been able to use in this new program and I would love the opportunity to be able to share my experiences in this program with others.
