Hi there my name is Jessica and I am a part of the Practical Nursing class here at Stenberg College! I live in Langley and am a 20 year old middle child who is obsessed with dogs. I chose to come to Stenberg because I have many friends who attend this school and told me all wonderful things about it, and I was sold on the brand new nursing lab (things like that make me excited). Nursing is a career that I have wanted to pursue since I was 4. My Nana was in the hospital at that time and I remember being in and out and seeing all the nurses and machines which all looked so fascinating and from that moment on, I knew that I had to know what every one of those “fascinating” machines did. When I have free time I like to spend it relaxing and de-stressing from school. I go to the gym, catch up with friends/family and I really like to hangout with my dog Bella! I like to have “me” time, and I think that is very important part of college students lives that we must not forget about!
