After a brief overview of autism, Dr. Cole will provide information on the evidence-based strategies and supports used to assist persons who have autism spectrum disorder. There will be a specific focus on the environmental supports, positive behaviour supports and self-regulation (calming) techniques that are often used in support of persons who have this disorder.
